Privacy Policy

Puffer Pup is a shared pet for you and your friends. We keep only what the pup and your pack need to work. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell or share your data.

What we store

• A random member ID. The app creates it the first time it goes online. It is not tied to your Apple ID, phone number or email.
• The name you type for yourself, if any. Your pack sees it in the feed and on the widget.
• Your pack's pup: its name, coat, outfit, bones and care stats, plus the pack code.
• The pack feed: who fed, petted, played with or dressed the pup, and when. Kept for the life of the pack.
• Push tokens from Apple, so your friends' care can refresh your widget and a nudge can reach you.
• Server logs with IP addresses, kept for 14 days to keep the service running and stop abuse.

What we don't collect

No contacts, location, photos, health data or advertising identifiers. When you save a Share fit picture, the app only adds it to Photos and never reads your library.

Who can see it

Only the people in your pack. Anyone with your pack code or invite link can see the pup's name and the first names of its pack before joining, so share the link only with friends. Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. The pack data lives on our own server, and nobody else gets it.

Deleting your data

Open the app, tap Your Pack, then Delete my data. This removes your member ID, your name, your push tokens and your entries in the pack feed from our server right away, and resets the app on your phone. If your pack has other people, the shared pup stays with them. If you were alone, the pack is deleted too. Leaving a pack does not delete your data. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.

Children

Puffer Pup is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used it, email us and we will delete their data.
