Ringa Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 September 2026

Ringa is a habit tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. The app is built so that it collects nothing about you. This policy describes what happens to your data, and the short version is: it stays with you.

What we collect

Nothing. Ringa has no servers, no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. We do not receive your data and technically cannot: the app never sends it anywhere except your own iCloud.

What is stored on your device

This data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled in your system settings, it syncs across your devices through a private CloudKit database inside your own Apple account. The developer has no access to that database — it belongs to you and is protected by your Apple ID.

Health data

With your explicit permission, Ringa reads the metrics needed for the goals you choose from the Health app: steps, active energy, distance, stand hours, exercise minutes and mindful minutes.

What matters about this data:

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No server push is used, and no data is sent anywhere to deliver them.

Sharing with third parties

None. The app contains no third-party SDKs, ad networks, analytics or trackers. Your data is never sold or shared with anyone under any circumstances.

Deleting your data

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data about anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this same address with a new effective date.
